At the Remembrance service which was held at Horwich Parish Church.

It was at the request of the Mayor that the Lodge members attended the service, we were also asked by the Mayor to wear the Lodge collars a requst we were more than pleased to accept.

Fed up with what's on the telly, looking for something to do, then why not join us at the RAOB

( or the BUFFS as we are better known )

Never Heard of us ?

We are an order based on philanthropy and conviviality.

Not the sort of words you hear bantered around much these days.

The Buffs have been around for centuries. exactly how long is not known although written records exist as far back as the early 1800's but the Magna Carta was signed in the prescence of Buff Knights.

We represent our past, our present, and our future.

The Buffs are hardly ever mentioned by the national media. This is not because they do not know of us and think of us as a secret society which we are not. It is probably because we just get on with helping good causes all over the country, and the world, and just accept, and know, that we do it.

Interested in joining ?

We meet at the Crown Hotel 1 Chorley New Road Horwich.

Every Thursday evening at 8.30pm and on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 8.00pm

We raise money for charities by raffles, bingo, tombolas, carnival stalls ETC.

If you feel you are the right sort of male person, over 18, a supporter of the Crown & Constitution, of good character, who could help us to help others, we would like to hear from you.
